Lets Go Hugo shows his class at Newcastle

Sprinter comes with sustained run to put his competitors to the sword

Lets Go Hugo

Lets Go Hugo wins as he likes at Newcastle

Let's Go Hugo showed plenty of promise on his opening run of his career at Wolverhampton a month ago, but then disappointed on his second run when meeting trouble in running. Given time to freshen up by trainer Ollie Pears 'hugo headed to Newcastle last weekend for a competitive handicap. In the event, Hugo ran out a rather cosy winner of the five furlong sprint.

This son of first-season sire Unfortunately ranged up over a furlong out and went on to win with something in hand. A half brother to both Roaring Rory (won 6 times for our shareholders) and Ready Freddie Go (8 times winner for our shareholders), we anticipate him continuing his winning thread.

Small shares in Hugo are close to selling out, so be quick if you wish to follow him for the rest of the season!

Watch the race video

Look out for Hugo coming out of stall one on the left as you watch the video. Ridden by Brandon Wilkie, he is given a lovely ride and comes into the race really nicely over a furlong out and the win never looks in doubt.
