Second win of the season for Hello Cotai
This latest win from Hello Cotai is certainly worth a watch! Pat Cosgrave deservedly got a big mention from the on-course commentary team for his ride on Hello Cotai, and the horse himself pulled out all the stops to win a shade cosily in the end.
His sharteholders have had to be patient with the weather this summer - this gelding prefers a bit of cut he simply wasn't getting since early spring. But once he got his conditions, Hello Cotai did a tremendous job of seeing off his rivals over the ten furlong trip at Epsom. Pat was very positive on the five-year-old and after kicking clear at Tattenham Corner, the victory was sealed.
Shareholders benefitted from a bold round-up of the horse's chances from the trainer prior to the race, and were rewarded with odds of 14-1.
Jim Boyle is aiming to find the gelding another opening in about 2-3 weeks, hopefully on similar ground (Good to Soft-ish).
Shares in Hello Cotai are SOLD OUT for 2026, however, shares for his 2027 campiagn are available now! Here's the video (below). Look out for Pat's winning move on the gelding over two and a half out...
