Ready Freddie Go wins again - and now heads to Haydock on Sunday

'Freddie' gets the treble up at Thirsk

Ready Freddie Go

Ready Freddie Go has now managed the treble in Class 4 races at Thirsk this season. On Saturday he added another Class 4 five furlong handicap to his collection of wins at the North Yorkshire track.

Ollie Pears has handled this gelding superbly well to win in FIVE times from only thirteen runs. Jockey Harry Russell was able to guide the gelding home under a hands and heels ride to lift his treble at the track. Harry was able to allow the gelding to lengthen and he recorded a one length success with apparent ease.

Shares in this lovely gelding are now available for his 2022 season, but he's still racing for his 2021 shareholders. In fact, we are expecting Freddie to head to Haydock on Sunday 12th September to contest an apprentice sprint worth 25k. It will be a step up on what he's achieved so far, but he's an improving horse! We hope to see Harry Russell taking the ride on Freddie.

You can watch the replay of the race below - look out for the Ownaracehorse blue and yellow colours on the stands side! Harry Russell rides.
