Our five-year-old mare, Crown Princess has always been a touch special. She has won every single season we've had her in training and last Saturday (12th August) this
wonderfully consistent and tough filly pulled out all the stops to win again for her shareholders. You can watch the race replay below.
Crown Princess was given an adept ride by Graham Lee to prevail in the last stride and win by a short-head to the delight of the shareholders at the
track. The champagne corks were popping afterwards, with a big fuss being made of her in the winner's enclosure.
Her win marks the ninth win of the season for Ownaracehorse syndicates. Each win has come from a seprate racehorse - with over half our horses in training having now recorded a win, and over two-thirds having finished in the first three at least once.
From our six 2YO's, we've also managed two wins and four of the six have been been placed third or better.
Who says you can't have fun with small shares!?
