| This young Captain Rio gelding is a beautifully bred individual. His father won at group level and is a leading sire, whilst his mother was a Group 1 winner, having won the Irish Oaks. This gelding is unraced at present and is a late two-year-old type who will have a full three-year-old campaign in 2010. We have purposefully waited with him as he needed time to mature but he is now in full training with Joss Saville in Middleham and will be ready to race in Maiden races as soon as the share period starts. Despite only having one eye (which will not effect his racing career), he's a very good looking individual, with excellent confirmation and is a good mover. This is a chance to be involved in a well bred gelding who is currently a blank canvass. Only 1 share (0.5%) is required to qualify for prizemoney, and only a limited number of shares will be made available, making the syndicate quite personal. The share starts on January 1st 2010 and lasts for the full flat season, finishing on November 1st 2010.
