Three new horses now available for 2010 - both jumps and flat

Its that time of the year where all all our racing stock gets evaluated and replaced or added to - and we have just made the latest additions to our flat and jumps horses.

First up is a wonderfully bred Captain Rio 2YO who is unraced and now in full training for his 3YO campaign.  Unnamed at the moment, he will be racing in the North and Midlands next year.

Then there is a welcome return to Mrs Burke, who will be embarking on a Chasing career starting in September.

Finally, another new addition to our jumpers - Rosie Larkin, who will be going Novice hurdling in 2010.

Captain Rio Gelding: Unraced 2YO now available.

Friendship Bay runs a cracker on his racecourse debut

As with most first ever runners, shareholders have had to be patient with Friendship Bay. It may have been a long wait to see Friendship Bay finally run his first race, but it was certainly worth it when he got there!

The big gelding ran at Stratford in a 'Bumper' and put in a blinding run to finish second at 33/1 in a driving finish, exceeding all expectations on his opening run of his career.

Trainer James Evans was delighted with his charge, and gave the gelding a welcoming slap when he returned into the winners enclosure under jockey David Dennis who gave him a great ride.

Friendship Bay will be turned out quite quickly, in search of a win, but his shares are completely sold out for this season.

Ownaracehorse trainer Stef Liddiard lands Group 3 race at Epsom

Stef Liddiard scored her first Group success on Friday afternoon when Mac Love landed the Diomed Stakes under a perfect ride from Micky Fenton.

Ourselves and many shareholders have already passed on our congratulations to Stef who trains four horses that run in the Ownaracehorse silks.

It is a well deserved success for somebody who must be one of the hardest working trainers in the country.  She has already won this year for us with Councellor, Sarah's Art and Siena Star.

Well done Stef!
