After much deliberation by our panel of independent
adjudicators, it was decided that our new jump horse by Kayf Tara
will be called:
TARA FOR NOW
Many thanks if you entered our racehorse naming competition. We had
over 1500 entries and as you can imagine our judges had a very
difficult task to choose a winner.
Amongst the suggestions which came close were Tara Diamond,
Taraboomdeeay, Swoop to Conquer, Theatrical Dancer and Breeze From
Tara, so if you were one of those names you came very close to
nabbing the winning prize.
The winning entry was actually suggested by TWO separate entrants
and we have decided to split the winning prize between them both.
So, two gentleman, one in Scotland, the other in Ireland will take
shares in two horses of their choice.
We will now be registering the winning name with Weatherby's and
hopefully the authorities will accept it and allow us to run
him under the winning entry.
We are very hopeful that 'Tara For Now' will be running within the
next two months in a National Hunt flat race!
