We always consider any approach from people wishing to
work for Ownaracehorse.
We have many differing roles within the company, including racecourse
representatives working on an ad-hoc basis, racing information clerks
who provide our shareholders with updates on their racehorses, as well
as general administrative staff and web programmers.

Roman Boy is found a
good home as he retires from racing
Following requests
from a number of shareholders we have decided to post an update on the
welfare of Roman Boy, even though his share period closed at the end of
October.
As many shareholders were aware he was due to go to the sales but was
withdrawn as he suffered an injury a matter of days before his date at
Doncaster. He was withdrawn from the sale, something which in hindsight
the Ownaracehorse team and trainer Stef Liddiard were quite relieved
about.

What a day at Hexham! With
two horses running this Monday, we were hopeful of taking some place
money home, but our jumps trainer Joss Saville delivered so much more,
and in tremendous style. A 25/1 winner and the closest of races in
the feature of the day...

really good shout yesterday at Carlisle. Several shareholders turned up (gaining free entry to the members
paddock) to watch their three-year-old filly contest a six furlong
handicap in driving rain...
