Notable Runs:
7th May 2008 - Namir WON 7/1
A great run from the six-year-old. He
travelled really well in behind horses and was produced by Duran Fentiman
beautifully over a furlong out, where he ran on, winning by half a length.
6th
May 2008 - Shakespeare's Son 3rd 16/1
A good start to this three-year-olds season
with a battling third over six furlongs at Chepstow.
1st
May 2008 - Omix D'Or 4th 12/1
After a couple of declarations as a non runner
due to the ground, Omix showed he was worth the wait by following up his second
at 50/1 with a very decent run against good quality opposition in this Novice
Hurdle to finish fourth of sixteen runners.
1st
May 2008 - Petrus de Sormain 2nd 12/1
But for an extra twenty yards, this gelding
would have been winning today, staying on well at the end of this hurdle race to
get within a length of the winner. He's improving with every race at the
moment and his first win can't be too far away now.
20th April 2008 - Omix D'Or 2nd 50/1
A hugely encouraging run from Omix D'Or on his
racecourse debut in the UK. He was beaten a long way here, but he himself
was clear of a very decent field of handicap hurdlers and there is definitely
more to come from this gelding.
10th
April 2008 - Siena Star 2nd 9/2
Siena Star only found one too good for him
today at Kempton, and despite being beaten a few lengths he held on well for
second and is still in cracking form.
9th April 2008 - Namir 2nd 12/1
Namir signalled there was wins to be had with
him today with a very strong run to finish second in this Class Four handicap.
the front two were well clear of the field and he will be back out again soon
chasing a win.
2nd April 2008 - Siena Star WON 9/2
He's in great shape at the moment, and Siena Star
held on bravely up the straight at Lingfield to record his fifth success at the
track. He runs for fun, and will no doubt be back in the prizemoney again
pretty soon.
1st April 2008 - Petrus de Sormain 3rd 40/1
Its taken a while to teach this gelding the basics of jump racing, but on his
third outing he ran a cracker for shareholders, looming large two out in this
Novice Hurdle and only went down by a couple of lengths when squeezed for room
at the last. We are looking forward to another run from this decent prospect in
the next fortnight.
19th March 2008 -
Desert Light WON 6/1
Desert Light hasn't had much luck in running in recent
weeks, but tonight at Kempton the gelding had a great draw and Tolley Dean
guided him to a good one length victory.
18th
February 2008 - Siena Star 2nd 7/2
Siena Star was caught yards from the line here, after
having 'bossed' this race from a long way out. He is in cracking form at
present and will no doubt be picking up more prizemoney soon.
14th
February 2008 - Grand Palace 3rd 9/2
Grand Palace, the model of consistency these days,
finished third here after falling out of the stalls and losing a few lengths.
However, another good run and there could be more wins to come from him in the
next few months, despite his higher handicap mark.
13th
February 2008 - Siena Star 3rd 10/1
Siena Star was leading as the field approached the final furlong, but was
caught by a couple with a turn of pace. However, a great opening run to
the new year with this grand old veteran.
12th February 2008 -
Red Dawn 2nd
16/1
Red Dawn provided shareholders with a heart-stopping run at Newcastle.
having led from over four out the gelding was in the lead jumping the last, but
tired near the line and was caught. However, a great run and the promise
of plenty more to come from him.
7th February 2008 -
Dancing Duo
3rd 20/1
Dancing Duo showed plenty of guts to fight her way back into this mile furlong
race and closed well at the end of the race to finish third by a rapidly
diminishing margin.
31st January 2008 -
Grand Palace WON 7/1
Grand Palace was having his first ever run over five
furlongs today and managed to repel all challengers to land a sweet victory for
shareholders. He has now won over 5, 6 and 7 furlongs and on three
different All-Weather surfaces.
30th January 2008 -
Farington Lodge 4th 18/1
Farington Lodge ran 2m 5f in this chase at Newcastle,
and whilst the distance was a bit sharp for him he stayed on resolutely to take
a share of the prizemoney. With 16 runners, he managed to fill the places
and will be back out over a longer distance next time.
29th January 2008 -
Dancing Duo 3rd 14/1
Dancing Duo's first try on the fibresand over a
shorter distance showed her using her stamina at the end of the race - racing
through late on to take third. She will hopefully build on this in the
coming weeks.
7th January 2008 - Grand Palace 2nd 9/2
Grand Palace was up in class today, running in this
0-75 rated handicap. He led throughout, until the final furlong where he
was headed, but holding off the rest of field by three lengths. There
looks to be more to come from him.
