Bought at the Tattersalls Yearling Sales in October, Poppy's Purse is a very sharp daughter of Indesatchel, from the all-conquering Danehill family line. Her mother was a winner, and she is a half sister to the two times Listed winner Polly Perkins.
Trained by Ollie Pears in Malton, this filly is going well on the gallops and we now expect she will make her debut in May. She is a well built individual and possesses all the attributes you would wish to see in a potential 2YO type. This filly is one of the furthest forward of the twelve 2YO's in Ollie Pears' yard and we expect to see her running in Maiden races when she starts her racecourse career.
This filly's share period runs through the entire 2012 flat season until Nov 2012. Only 1 share is required to qualify for prizemoney. |
