This is an Autumn and Winter jumping share, starting on September 1st 2012 and going through until the 2012/13 National Hunt season finishes in April 2013. We are expecting this mare to race regularly through the jumps season.
Crumble is a lovely big mare who will race as a six-year-old in 2012. Trained by Philip Kirby in Yorkshire, this mare is at the start of her career, as chasing will be her forte. She is bred to be a 3m+ chaser, has plenty of size (easily over 17 hands) and ran promisingly over hurdles in 2011 over inadequate trips. She will race in hurdle races in Autumn to gain more experience, and then we plan to take her chasing. Philip thinks highly of her and is looking forward to going chasing with this daughter of Karinga Bay, as she has done nothing but improve since joining his yard.
