Despite the weather curtailing the jumps campaigns of virtually every horse in the country during January, we've managed to send out five runners in January, and its been a lucrative time for Ownaracehorse shareholders.
From five runners this month, we've had a winner and two seconds, as well as a couple of runs from Chateau Lola where she was close up, but just out of the places.
Stormy Morning is the star of the show this month, with a win and a second on the board. The Gelding won over £3,000 in prizemoney during the month, and will be back out again in February.
Then there was our unexposed youngster Village Green, who defied odds of 33/1 to finish second at Wolverhampton. He is back out again next week and will switch to Southwell this time, perhaps in handicap company for the first time.

Its a time of 'build-up' for many of our flat horses at the moment, with Street Power, Lucky Royale, Cool Reception and Faye Belle all working towards their summer campaigns. However, its great to have some of our horses already on the go and recording success this early in the year.
Chateau Lola, Village Green and 'Stormy' will be continuing their campaigns, and we're hopeful that Crumble and Street Power will be joining them by running in February, as well as our Pointer, Panama At Once.
