Will Street Power get the party started on New Year's Eve?
    DATE POSTED: 06/06/2013
Street Power will be chasing the tenth win of his career in the penultimate flat race of 2013 on Tuesday afternoon...

New Year's Eve could get off to an early start if our 8YO gelding Street Power can run like he did at Lingfield twenty-two days ago.  He last ran over course and distance on December 9th, only failing to land the spoils by a head.

This time he carries only a pound more on his back, but hopefully Liam Keniry will be able to find a clear run to the line.

Street Power (known as 'Freddie' in the yard) had to bob and weave his way through eight runners to get to the front before the line last time over six furlongs, only failing to get there by an ever-diminishing head.

If he was to get his head in front on Tuesday, this would be his tenth win of his career, and a fitting way to finish his 2013 share period for shareholders who have enjoyed nine runs with the gelding this season.

Street Power is likely to be the favourite come post time in the 3-00pm race at Lingfield on Tuesday - and will be well supported at the track by a enthusiastic bunch of Ownaracehorse shareholders who are dying to see this lovely big gelding get his head in front!

Still shares left in Street Power for the next 4 months - view his profile
