|York Racecourse stage the Malton Racing Association Breeders Cup Dinner - tickets going fast!|
|DATE POSTED: 29/09/2011|
Fancy a night out to
remember with a racing flavour? It's the North's biggest charity
racing event of the year on Breeders Cup night at York racecourse...
If rubbing shoulders with the great and the good of the Northern racing world doesn't do it for you, then perhaps it will be the tremendous three-course dinner or the after dinner entertainment which includes live coverage from the Breeders Cup and also a live band... However, knowing that for a paltry £50 per head you are also contributing to some very worthy Yorkshire based charities, should top it off.
Malton Racing Association are holding their 'Breeders Cup Dinner' on November 5th at York Racecourse.
The Malton Racing Association represents the racing communities of Malton and Norton, but also encompasses some of the outlying areas. Their goal is to support the 25 trainers in the area, but also to raise funds for charity - including the Air Ambulance, House That Jack Built and Malton Hospital.
So on the night there will be about 400 people at York racecourse enjoying a top class meal, but also the Breeders Cup, live from Kentucky. And Northern racing enthusiasts will also be aware that Doncaster racecourse are staging their finale to the flat season that afternoon - so there will be a large contingent of trainers, jockeys, agents, owners and breeders who will be enjoying the November handicap in the afternoon before heading to York in the evening to bring the flat season to a close in style.
Victor Chandlers are also going to be present on the night, supplying the television coverage from America, but also ensuring you can get a betting interest on the racing as well. And if you don't win on the racing, then there is always the live band to dance the night away to!
If you would be interested in attending, tickets are only £50.00 each - and there are tables of 10 people. The organisers are willing to organise split tables if required.
