|Arc Lighter - your chance to have a Royal Ascot runner|
|DATE POSTED: 28/11/2013|
Here is an
opportunity you will not get anywhere else, unless you have over
£10,000 to spend. Our new flat horse with trainer Jeremy Gask
is called Arc Lighter, and he will be trained to target the Royal
Hunt Cup at Ascot next summer...
At Ownaracehorse we try to provide a service to shareholders which surpasses all other syndicates - not just small-share syndicates, but also those which cost many thousands of pounds to be part of.
As part of that philosophy we are always on the lookout for that one horse which can take our shareholders to racetracks they would normally only dream of visiting as an Owner. Well, we think we have found a horse which could be capable of taking shareholders to Royal Ascot!
Arc Lighter is currently a 4YO, but will be racing as a 5YO for Ownaracehorse next season. In training in Wiltshire with Jeremy Gask, this is an ex-Sheikh Mohammed gelding who has already won in Class 2 company in France and been second twice in £12,000 races - from only five runs. He has been bought expressly with the purpose of heading for the Royal Hunt Cup at Ascot next season - a top class mile race worth over £145,000 in total prizemoney.
Currently rated 99 by the UK handicapper, this gelding is suitably un-exposed, and we are really excited by the prospect of racing him through next season. Shares in this big, powerful gelding are already on sale and Arc Lighter represents a serious opportunity for shareholders to be enjoying top class racing through 2014. You will not find a horse of this calibre being offered for only £165 a share anywhere else!
As with all our syndicates, only 50-60 shareholders in total will be able to be a part of this racehorse. There will be very fair and honest process for the allocation of Owners Badges in this racehorse, so every shareholder will get a fair chance of gaining Owners Badges for his races.
We have waited a long time to find a horse of this calibre, and believe this horse will make the 2014 flat season a very exciting time! We will start reporting on this horses' build up to the season in January, and shareholders will be able to visit the Jeremy Gask yard to meet the trainer and Arc Lighter in early spring, ahead of the start of his racing season.
