With the first UK
yearling sales on a few days away, at Ownaracehorse we are gearing
up for a busy time...
The sales season is upon us now, and its this time of the year where
we are at our busiest - searching through catalogues and going to
sales and viewing horses privately as well - all with the goal of
finding competitive racehorses for our shareholders for next year..
The Sales season starts
later this week at Doncaster, where about 450 yearlings
will go under the hammer, searching for a new home
before heading to the racecourse in 2013.
And we will be there - searching for some good value
youngsters which can provide racing action to our
shareholders through next season.
In the past we have had as many as 20 horses in training
each season, many of whom were older horses, but we are
changing that this season.
For 2013, we will be concentrating on a few jumpers for
the winter and also a couple for the summer, but its the
2YO's which will be the primary focus.

Our shareholders don't just enjoy the
racing season itself - we report on the sales, breaking,
pre-training and build up to the first races as well - making our
service a truely rounded racehorse ownership experience.
With as many as five two-year-olds on our books for 2013, we are
catering for demand - our shareholders in horses such as Throwing
Roses and Miss Starry Eyed have made it quite clear from 2012 that
this is what they want - so we are responding by altering the mix of
horses we will be offering.
The new yearlings will start to appear on the site from September

buy a gift of such a share, please contact us - as we are inviting
such shareholders to join us at the sales-ring at Doncaster and
