Juveniles Throwing Roses and Poppy's Purse expected to get entries in the next week.
    DATE POSTED: 28/05/2012
We visited the Ollie Pears yard on Sunday 27th May, and in glorious sunshine both our resident 2YO's looked wonderful.  Both filly's are in great shape and Ollie is giving both of them entries very soon.

Ollie Pears has his horses running well at the moment, with a glut of seconds and thirds, it won't be long before these decent results are converted to winning runs.

Throwing Roses (only a handful of share remain!), has already been runner-up on two occasions this season, but Ollie is planning to go one better either at Pontefract or Beverley in June.  This robust filly takes her racing incredibly well and should be racing twice in June.
Poppy's Purse (pictured) has yet to run this season, but is another juvenile for which we have great aspirations.

This 2YO has filled out and really come to herself in the last month and Ollie is looking forward to taking this daughter of a Indesatchel to the races in the first two weeks of June for her debut race.

Tom Eaves rides out regularly for the Pears' yard and he was impressed with the progress made by Poppy's Purse when he worked her up Malton's gallops this week.

Both horses were looking in great shape when we saw them this Sunday, and with the form of Throwing Roses' races starting to have a solid look to them we're anticipating further success from her as she steps up in trip.  Her Mother won over seven and a mile and a half, so the fact that she can be competitive over five as a juvenile promises a rosy future for her.
