|Friday 1st April could see Ownaracehorse shareholders present at three different racetracks with five separate racehorses|
|DATE POSTED: 28/03/2011|
It may well be April Fools day this
Friday, but there's certainly no joke when it comes to our
racehorses running that day - a potential total of FIVE across three
racetracks in a single afternoon.
With our flat trainer based in Scotland, George Foster, wishing to get an early start to both our horses 2011 campaigns, combined with Philip Kirby set on building on promising runs from his two jumpers that's four of our runners entered, and then we have another jumper having his opening run of the season Petrus De Sormian.
The latter of the five has been chasing around trying to get some decent ground in the last fortnight, and also has an entry on Wednesday, so he may drop out, but regardless, it looks like we will have a minimum of four runners, and perhaps five.
Sandwith and Bahamian Kid will get an outing at Musselburgh on Friday, and will be our first flat, turf runners of the year - however, they will quickly be followed by Amical Risks who runs at the Lincoln meeting at Doncaster on Saturday.
April looks like being a very busy month for runners, as Stef Higgins also announced that she is expecting Sarah's Art to return, and perhaps My Best Bet could squeeze a run into April as well. Bachelor Knight will be racing for Ollie Pears during the month, as well as an opening run from our un-raced 3YO gelding Storm Blue.
As well as all that going on, we also have two trainer yard visits to look forward to at Philip Kirby's and this Sunday at James Evans' yard. It's an exciting time at Ownaracehorse at the moment!
