|Busy weekend of racehorse ownership as two runners hit the track and we host our Ollie Pears yard visit as well.|
|DATE POSTED: 26/04/2013|
With the turf season
now well under way, we have a very busy weekend ahead of us.
Street Power runs on Saturday at Leicester, followed by our Spring
yard visit to Ollie Pears on Sunday, and then Stormy Morning runs at
Wetherby in the afternoon...
With Faye Belle kicking off the turf season for shareholders earlier this week, its now Street Power's turn to go racing on the green stuff this weekend.
The 8YO is all ready to make his seasonal debut on turf on Saturday at Leicester after having had a couple of spins on the All-Weather at Kempton. He runs in the last race at Leicester, which has it's Listed King Richard III race earlier in the afternoon.
Jacob Butterfield aboard Village Green - he will be galloping at our yard visit on Sunday
Sunday morning sees us at Ollie Pears' yard in Malton. We have two very nice prospects stabled there - Village Green, a 4YO handicapper, and Cool Reception, a promising young 2YO. We aim to watch these two work up the gallops as well as touring the yard.
Then we have Stormy Morning, who is due to be declared for Wetherby on Sunday afternoon. This gelding is a smashing individual and he will also be contesting the last race on the card. He has won every year for shareholders, so we will be looking for a big run to start his summer season of both flat and hurdles.
All in all, a busy weekend of racehorse ownership for shareholders!
