|Jumpers start their seasons in the first week of October|
|DATE POSTED: 25/09/2014|
Both of our Midlands
trained jumpers for the winter season are set to race in the next
week. Primo Rossi and Little Jimmy have both come to hand at
the sdame time and will face their rivals next week...
Little Jimmy and Primo Rossi, both trained by Tommy Gretton in Inkberrow, near Alcester are due to race next week.
Little Jimmy is an experienced chaser with a great record over the bigger obstacles, and had a wonderful year in 2013, winning and being placed on several occasions - and winning over £10,000 in prizemoney in the process. He is set to race at Chepstow next Tuesday in his opening race of the new season.
Primo Rossi - a well related young horse who will have a Bumper run next week.
Little Jimmy is a really versatile chaser - capable of running well on most ground and over distances between two and two and a half miles. we can't w2ait for him to get started, and having seen him at home only a day ago, he certainly looks very well.
There are only a limited number of shares still available in Little Jimmy, so be quick if you wish to guarantee your involvement for this winter. We are already sold out of Private Service shares in this lovely gelding.
Then we have our youngster, Primo Rossi. He has only raced twice in his life, but has shown promise already. He has needed his first couple of runs to learn about racing and to gain experience, but he has also shown talent, and he will have one or two more Bumper runs before going Novice Hurdling this winter. Shares are still available in 'Rossi', but they may fly off the shelves once he goes well at Chepstow!
We also have a yard visit to Tommy Gretton's yard coming up in a few weeks time, so shareholders will be able to meet their racehorse and spend time with Tommy and his stable staff at Inkberrow. Stables visits are a free element of your ownership with Ownaracehorse.
