|'Stormy' runs another decent race to finish 3rd at Market Rasen|
|DATE POSTED: 23/11/2012|
Stormy Morning looked
as if he was going to record his second win of the year at Market
Rasen yesterday, but was just run out of it in the last hundred
Philip Kirby continued his wonderful winning season at Market Rasen racecourse yesterday, as his chaser Pickworth won the two and a half mile chase. Next race up was Ownaracehorse's Stormy Morning, and the gelding looked as if he was going to make it a straight double over two hurdles out.
However, on this occasion he was out-run to the line and ended up finishing third, but only beaten a handful of lengths.
Stormy Morning at the races.
'Stormy' has been a great servant to his shareholders this year, and it looks like this is set to continue. So far this share period he has been second and third, with one run in sixth. He is due back out again in about two to three weeks time.
Only 15 shares are still available in this gelding - and with the winter season now getting into gear, his price has now fallen to only £107 - so make the most of a gelding in form and a great offer!
Another of our winter horses about to start her season is Chateau Lola - who will be gracing the All-Weather by the end of this month. Entries are imminent for this filly, who will be seen over sprint distances in the Midlands and South right through the winter season.
We are really looking forward to seeing this 5YO back out on the artificial surfaces, as she is on a great handicap mark and worked like a horse refreshed from a summer break when we held our yard visit to Derek Shaw's a week ago.
Expect to see Chateau Lola out at Wolverhampton or Kempton very soon.
Our diminuitive 2YO Miss Starry Eyed is also out soon. The filly will be visiting Kempton next week if her plans work out as we expect.
