|5-4-3-2-1 Kenyan just gets better and better|
|DATE POSTED: 23/10/2017|
Our young hurdler
with Seamus Durack has just got better and better as this season has
progressed. He has run over hurdles and on the flat for his
shareholders this season so that his form figures are 5-4-3-2-1!
It doesn't always work out the way you want it to, but in the case of Kenyan, our 3YO dual purpose gelding, he has managed to string a perfect set of improving runs together.
Kenyan has done nothing but improve this season, and at Plumpton on Monday afternoon he showed a clean pair of heels to a number of horses who had been very well backed indeed. Winning from the front, the gelding's National Hunt form figures now read 5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd 1st...
The 3YO will not be going through the winter, as he favours ground which isn't too soft, but he may not yet be finished this season.
Kenyan will probably be back out one more time this Autumn before he gets a well deserved break,. In fact, he is so well handicapped on the flat, we may actually return there for a final run with him. He's not a big horse, but is very game and trainer Seamus Durack was delighted with this win from him - and with another winter's growth in him he is going to be a horse to look forward to next season.
Look out for shares in this youngster being made available very soon.
