|Turf season only days away, and our flat syndicates set to get off to a swift start this season|
|DATE POSTED: 23/03/2017|
The 2017 flat season
is only ten days away now, and the reports from our trainers is that
we can expect an early start from a number of our flat horses...
It's looking like 2we will be starting right on the button this year as the 2017 flat turf season starts up. As well as older horses looking to start their season in April, we may also have 2YO's out, and even a flat runner in the first few days of the new season..
Singing Sands is all set to race in the next week - to kick off her racing season.
As we head into the turf season, it appears that our flat syndicates will be enjoying an early start to activity, as both our primary flat trainers are anticipating runners in the next fortnight.
We should start with Singing Sands, our rather nice 72 rated filly with Seamus Durack. She already holds an entry for next week on the All-Weather, and the plan is to see her race on the turf as well, once the races come along in higher numbers as the month of April goes on. she is a really nice prospect, and has filled out considerable since last year when we bought her at the Tattersall sales.
Meanwhile in Yorkshire, Ollie Pears expects Roaring Rory to be out again within the next two weeks. He has already won for his shareholders this season - but is completely sold out!
High Wells, who was too backward to see a racecourse last season is aiming for a start in April in the South, after over-wintering really well and Orithia is another nice filly who should see a racecourse sooner rather than later, with Seamus hoping to find a race for her in mid-April. She is a well handicapped horse and we expect great things from her this season after showing plenty of promise in her last few runs in 2016.
Our 2yo's are coming along nicely, and the first to be racing looks like it will be Autumn Belle, who is very sharp. Ollie Pears expects to introduce her to her first race in the third week of April if she continues to do well at home.
Then we have Spanish Beauty and Dyna Might (sold out) who are coming to their peak at home, and again, the middle to the end of April should see them having their opening runs. Our other two 2YO's - Amity Island (bred for 6f+) and Christmas Night will be looking at May starts, whilst Kenyan is another who looks set for an introduction in May.
It's all coming together and its not too late to be a part of syndicate for this season!
