First run for Galileo Figaro later this week
    DATE POSTED: 20/06/2011
Galileo Figaro has joined us for a special summer share period as he goes summer jumping for shareholders...
Our gelding Galileo Figaro is all set to race later this week in what will be the seven-year-old's first run of the summer campaign!

We expect this Australian import to be very busy in the next few months, as he loves the faster ground, and being kindly rated, he will find plenty of races available - especially as he will go both hurdling and chasing.

Friday's race at Market Rasen is a pipe opener in a handicap hurdle for him - but he will be ready for the race, as he's been painstaking prepared by our Gisburn pre-training yard as well as having the edge placed on his fitness by Philip Kirby at Castleton.

This chap loves the minimum distance - Two Miles - and we're expecting him to be kept quite busy over the summer months - especially when he goes chasing, as we think two mile novice chases will be the making of him as he starts to gain experience.

We're hoping for a little luck with the declarations on Thursday, as we need about seven to drop out to get a run, but he raring to go, so he'll definitely be declared and hopefully he'll get the chance to line up on Thursday afternoon.
