|Amical Risks faces seven rivals at Haydock|
|DATE POSTED: 20/05/2011|
Amical Risks (known as 'Risky' in the
yard) is looking to go one better at Haydock on Friday, following a
promising second placing at Wolverhampton last week.
This seven-year-old gelding has provided his shareholders with plenty of fun over the last two seasons, through a combination of his excessive hold-up tactics and his ability to finish in the first four in virtually every race he contests. Last season he won one and was placed in a further eight races, including three second placings.
He also has a penchant for lady riders - having rarely been out of the first three with a lady rider aboard. Last week he was second when ridden by his lady rider, Vicky Coates. Today, experienced Apprentice Rosie Jessop takes the ride in this apprentice only heat which is the last on Haydock's card, due off at 5-30pm.
Risky is set to be sent off the second favourite for this race and will be supported by over 20 shareholders at Haydock, one of the North's Grade 1 racetracks and another 60 watching from home. The best of luck to all of them!
