Throwing Roses ready to race and will get entries for next week

    DATE POSTED: 19/04/2012

Throwing Roses, our 2YO daughter of Clodovil is ready to race according to trainer Ollie Pears - the filly will start getting entries from today and could be racing next week at Catterick or Beverley...

We have three very early sorts amongst our 2YO's for 2012, and the first of them is now ready to race. Throwing Roses is a really robust and tough filly by the emerging sire Clodovil and she will be making her debut next week if her trainer gets his way.

Ollie Pears trains the filly, known as 'Zooki' in the yard and he informed us yesterday that she is ready to go racing.

"She's a really early sort and will be my first 2YO runner of the season. This wet weather won't faze her and we should be racing before the end of the month. There are a few options for her." said Ollie.

This filly will start at five furlongs and we'll see how she gets on before deciding whether she will go up in trip or not, although she could well be a six furlong horse by the time we get to summer.

We still have a few shares left in the filly for a one-off price of only 114 for the season.
