|Street Power in the sort of shape which should see him record his tenth win very soon|
|DATE POSTED: 19/01/2014|
Street Power has run
two very good races just recently, having been second by a head and
then fourth by a quickly diminishing length last time out. He
runs again later this week at Kempton, where he has won five time
Our rather special veteran gelding Street Power has recorded nine wins in his career so far, and the 9YO is not too far away from that big ten, judging on his performances lately.
This son of top American sire Street Cry has gone close to winning in both his two last runs, both at Lingfield. On New Year's Eve he was only two lengths away from victory over six furlongs and before that he was only a head down the leader when running at Lingfield in the second week of December.

This nine-year-old has already won nine races, but double figures beckons for this Jeremy Gask trained gelding. He has a really decent turn of foot, and when things drop right for him he will surely get his tenth win.
And that tenth win may well come very soon - as he is entered to run at Kempton on Thursday 23rd in another 0-65 rated six furlong race. He loves it around Kempton, and the long home straight gives him plenty of time and space to come with his final furlong run.
We had received the nod from the yard that they expect 'Freddie' to race on Thursday, so keep an eye out on Tuesday for the 48 hour declarations (also shown on our home page). And why not become involved in the gelding's next few months of racing? Shares are selling fast, but there are still a dozen or so left, priced at only £59.00 until the flat season starts.
