Roaring Rory wins for his shareholders in only his second race of the season
    DATE POSTED: 17/02/2016

Roaring Rory may be on the small side, but he proved once again that sometimes big surprises can come in small boxes, as he strode out well to win going away at Wolverhampton...

Trainer Ollie Pears has on;ly sent out a few runners so far this year, as the main body of his stable are waiting for the flat to start.  However, he has had great success with what he has sent to the track - with winners and placed horses during the first six weeks of 2017.  Among them is Roaring Rory - now in his 3rd year of racing for our syndicates, and so far he has won every single season!.

Roaring Rory - when winning last season at Beverley.

Rory is a five furlong sprinter, and he went to Wolverhampton on Wednesday 15th February to contest a handicap.  After an uncharacteristic slow start which saw him well out the back of the field, he came from last to first up the home straight and won going away, much to the delight of his shareholders at the track.

Ridden by young apprentice Lewis Edmunds, the gelding was the smallest horse in the field, but that didn't stop him being the best - despite carrying top weight!  He is a smashing racehorse, and adored by his shareholders - and we will be holding our spring yard visits to Ollie's Malton-based stables in late March/early April.

If you want a share in this lovely 4YO, then be quick - we only have a few left, and they are selling quickly!

You can view his winning performance on our Youtube channel now.

Orithia - potentially decent class filly...
Dyna Might - Northern middle-distance 3YO for the summer
