|Galileo Figaro our latest recruit for 2011 - a summer jumper|

racing enthusiasts who like the sun on their back, but also enjoy
National Hunt racing, we have a new recruit for 2011...
Galileo Figaro may well be a particularly memorable line from Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, but to us, he's a seven-year-old jumper who is set to provide shareholders with plenty of fun through the Summer.
This is a truly interesting individual, being born and bred in Australia and having run under rules there and winning on the flat. However, his long term future was always going to be over fences and when the Australians decided to stop their jumps racing, he made the long journey to the United Kingdom.
He was placed with Ownaracehorse trainer Joss Saville last summer and made good progress with each run, and with him now qualified for handicaps we are looking forward to a full summers worth of racing from the seven-year-old.
He's not a huge horse, but that may play to our advantage, as he's very nimble footed, and we believe the tight, turning tracks like Cartmel, Stratford, Worcester and Uttoxeter may be right up his street, especially over a two mile trip.
We're aiming to have him start his season in a matter of weeks, and he will be trained by Philip Kirby, based in Yorkshire, but he will race both in the North and the Midlands.
With a price tag of less than £80.00 one-off payment for the season, he's also incredibly good value!
