Mid-April onwards looking busy with runners for Ownaracehorse syndicates
    DATE POSTED: 10/04/2012
With the flat season just started and the jumps season drawing to a close, we have a number of horses who are being readied for their summer seasons....

The start to April has been a quiet one for Ownaracehorse runners, but our syndicates will be off and running in new share periods from the middle of this month.

Many of our dual purpose horses are making the transition from winter racing into summer jumping and flat racing - and horses like Stormy Morning, having had a short break after an active winter, and back in full training once again.  Stormy Morning is all set to be back in business towards the end of April or the start of May and will be alternating between flat racing and the summer jumps.

Meanwhile, new addition to the syndicates, Rowan Lodge, is all set to go racing at Beverley on April 18th, as he attempts to win a race he has already won on three previous occasions.

The gelding is being prepared with this target in mind and he will kick off our flat runners for the season.

Then there are our three 2YO's - all of which are making great progress.  All three of them are expected to be early sorts, and the end of April and start of May will see Throwing Roses and Poppy's Purse start their careers,

Stormy Morning wins at Sedgefield

whilst Miss Starry Eyed will not be far behind - expected to start her racing later in May.

Back To Paris (now sold out) is another syndicate where we should see him ready to start his summer campaign from the middle of April onwards.  This veteran of the Northern circuit and summer jumping scene is as good as ever and Philip Kirby is all set to race him later this month or the start of May.

Then there is our Leicestershire based summer horses Dancing Ellie Mae and Prickles.  The latter is actively being sought a race by trainer Derek Shaw in the middle of the month, whilst Dancing Ellie Mae will be slightly longer, but we're hoping she will be out again at the end of April.

So, plenty of horses ready to run, and entries should start to be made for our syndicates very soon.  You can follow all of our runners by reading our homepage, which is updated on a daily basis.
