|Ollie Pears yard visit one of our best attended events we have ever run...|
|DATE POSTED: 08/04/2014|
Last Sunday saw us
run our first visit of the season to Ollie Pears' yard at the Old
Barn Stables at Norton, Malton. A total of 80 shareholders and
their families (a total of 150 people) enjoyed a great morning at
the yard and up the gallops...
On Sunday April 6th about 150 people, including 80 shareholders, made the journey to Malton, North Yorkshire, to see their potential new racing star go through its paces up the Wold gallops!
Ollie Pears threw open the doors to his yard for Ownaracehorse shareholders and we were treated to an in-depth discussion about all three of the shareholder horses - Cool Reception, Dad's Girl and Studio Star. All three horses paraded and then Ollie went around the yard to discuss the chances of all the horses in his care for the just started summer flat campaign.
Studio Star at home with Jacob Butterfield
Rising star of the saddle, Jacob Butterfield was also at the yard, not only to lend a hand when parading all three horses, but he also rode out Dad's Girl up the gallop later in the morning, allowing shareholders to see their charges lengthen and show a little of their early ability.
Both 2YO's are expected to have their racing debuts in the next 6-8 weeks and Cool Reception, our very lightly raced 3YO should be racing on turf by the end of April.
Shares are still available in all three horses for their 2014 summer turf campaigns, starting in April, but they are selling fast. Priced from only £89 each, its a one-off payment for the entire summer season.
