Unraced Westerner filly with Philip Kirby all set for bumper/hurdles this winter

We have just strengthened our winter team of horses with the addition of a lovely un-raced 3YO filly trained by Philip Kirby...

We are delighted to have just acquired a lovely 3YO with Richmond-based trainer Philip Kirby.  The 9,000 euro filly is by Westerner, a runner up in the Arc when he was racing, and a top class stayer.

However, its the filly's Mother's line which we like the look of when it comes to pedigree - as she is related to a 125 rated Class 1 performer over sticks in the USA, and the mares mother was another really genuine and robust individual who won many races in a career which spanned six years.

This youngster has only just been backed, after being bought last month at the Irish Goffs sale. Philip loved the way she walked, and her relaxed attitude.  She has already settled into her new home at Richmond, and Westerner is starting to be recognised as a very decent sire of National Hunt types, with offspring rated above 160 and getting the fourth placed horse in this years National.

We are syndicating this filly for her bumper and Novice Hurdling season, which will start around November and go right through until May next year.
