Throwing Roses aiming to go one better after two seconds...
    DATE POSTED: 04/04/2012
Our 2Yo filly with Ollie Pears has managed to finish second on her first two appearances so far this season, but with a step up in trip next Monday, we're looking for her to get that win...

Throwing Roses has already been great fun to follow this season for shareholders, as this diminutive filly has shown plenty of speed and guts in her races in finishing second by only a short-head the first time, and then only giving best when bumping into a useful type at Catterick.
However, after a short break of a few weeks since her last outing, 'Zooki' (as she's known in the yard) will be heading to Pontefract next Monday evening to try and go one better.

Trainer Ollie Pears is keen to take this filly racing next week, and in fact has Pontefract and also another race at Beverley later in the month planned for this daughter of Clodovil.
Zooki is ready to race!

The difference this time is that Zooki will be going over an extra furlong, something she has been crying out for for some time.  Her Mother won over seven furlongs as a 2YO and then went on to win again over a mile and a half, and it looks like she is going the same route.

Shareholders have already gone close twice this season, but we expect Throwing Roses will attract a big following at Pontefract's night meeting as this popular filly attempts to get that valued number 1 in her form figures.

We still have a small number of shares left if you want to be a part of the fun!
