|Lola all set to race on Sunday as Lingfield starts the longest stint of racing ever|
|DATE POSTED: 1/03/2012|
With the tracks at
both Wolverhampton and Southwell both suffering closures, it has
been left to Lingfield to fill the gap, which means that they will
be staging an eleven-day stint of racing, the longest in racing
The current problems with the All-Weather tracks has created something of a first for British racing, as the meetings tabled for Southwell and Wolverhampton over the next fortnight will now be staged at Lingfield.
This isn't great news for horses in the North, but luckily this season we have Chateau Lola, based in the Midlands, and it has provided the filly with the opportunity to go racing this Sunday at Lingfield.
Chateau Lola (shares available now) rounds the bottom of the gallop.
The filly had an opening run, which was no more than a pipe-opener the other day at Wolverhampton, where the kickback has been so bad, it has caused the course to close and re-wax the entire track.
However, she will be seen back out in only a few days time to take her chance at Lingfield. The filly has yet to race at the track, but has good form on the Polytrack and the quick surface may well suit her.
If it does, then we expect to see the filly back at Lingfield again sometime during the fortnight of continuous racing.
If you are looking for a little bit of racing fun through the winter, then a small share in 'Lola' could fit the bill. She is a robust filly and will only improve for her racing.
