Astigos and Little Jimmy on the search for safe, soft ground for their seasonal debuts
    DATE POSTED: 04/11/2016
The jumps campaign has just started and our two chasers Astigos and Little Jimmy are in search of a safe surface to run on...

The current unseasonably dry spell in the South of the country has meant that ourn jumpers in the Midlands and the South are searching around for decent, safe ground to make their seasonal debuts on.

Both Little Jimmy and Astigos, both rated above 115 over chase fences are having to look further afield for racing options, as every racecourse seems to be watering their turf in order to stage racing.

Astigos - a really great looking chaser who compete in Class 4 and above.

And Tommy Gretton may have found that opening, even though it will mean travelling up to the North East, where the rain has actually managed to soften the ground up in the last few days.  Both horses will be entered for separate races at Newcastle on Friday November 11th.

Astigos shares are still available - whilst Little Jimmy has now sold out.
