|Stormy Morning looking for a course and distance double at Sedgefield on Thursday 5th Jan|
|DATE POSTED: 04/01/2012|
It was only ten days ago that Stormy
Morning managed to record his first win for Ownaracehorse - winning
easily at 16/1.
Now the gelding is back to the scene of that win in an attempt to make it a course and distance double.
Stormy Morning, trained by Philip Kirby close to Whitby is due to race tomorrow at Sedgefield in the 2-10pm race, a two and a half mile handicap. He will have the same jockey on board who guided him to victory last time - Richie McGrath.
Obviously our shareholders' expectations are high. The gelding has been a popular choice as a gift for Christmas, so shareholders are getting a very quick introduction to their horse and going racing! This represents a step up in grade for the gelding, but there could still be some improvement in him.
Shares are still available in Stormy Morning, and as long as you purchase before 2-00pm on Thursday, you will be a part of him for the run. The race has £3,500 in prizemoney allocated to it by the BHA.
