|Seven runners will race over the next five days for Ownaracehorse shareholders|
|DATE POSTED: 03/10/2014|
This Saturday sees
the start of a period of racing where Ownaracehorse shareholders
will have up to seven horses running within five days...
There are times when you are a racehorse owner when you wonder just when your next runner is going to come along - but rather like Number 22 buses, along comes a few all at once.... Well, we will enjoy SEVEN runners over the next five days.
Four times winner Little Jimmy is set to start his winter season on Monday at Stratford
It all kicks off on Saturday when Arc Lighter will take to the Tapeta at Wolverhampton. He is set to race over nine furlongs in a Class 3 £11,500 added handicap at the Midlands track.
The following day sees the return of Brunello after he has enjoyed a short break in late summer. He will be racing over hurdles up at Kelso for new Ownaracehorse trainer Michael Smith in a Class 5 0-100 handicap hurdle over 2m 2f. We can't wait for his return!
Then on Monday another jumper takes centre stage as Little Jimmy goes chasing for us. This will be his opening run of his jumps season and we have plenty of shareholders going to Stratford to watch him strut his stuff in the £5,000 added handicap chase.
Then our busiest day of the week: Runners at two tracks 300 miles apart! Up at Catterick, both Stormy Morning and Studio Star are expected to love the soft going in their races, whilst down at Brighton Lucky Surprise is going for the win after being second home on her last two runs. All three of these horses will be fancied and we are anticipating a really exciting day of racing for shareholders in the North and South!
Finally, on Wednesday we have the much anticipated return to the track of Dad's Girl, following her win at Musselburgh in summer. She is due to race at Nottingham in a 5f Class 4 sprint and we are just hoping the rain isn't too heavy for her this weekend.
Shares are still available in Little Jimmy for Monday, and some of the other horses already have the 2015 shares available to purchase.
