|Ollie Pears 2YO's ready to race in April along with older horses|
|DATE POSTED: 03/04/2012|
With the flat season off and running we
are anticipating the debut from our first two juveniles in the next
few weeks. Both Poppy's Purse and Throwing Roses are both
expected to race very soon...
Ollie Pears has no less than 12 2YO's amongst his intake for 2012, and our two juveniles look like they will be amongst the first to run from his yard.
The first expected on the track will be Throwing Roses, a Clodovil filly who has made extremely good progress on the gallops since she joined Ollie six weeks ago. She has displayed very sharp tendencies and we should be seeing her running in the middle of April. She has done a small number of bits of successful fast work at home and Ollie has indicated that she could be his first 2YO runner of the season.
Ollie has some interesting horses in
his yard for this season, and it's great to have juvenile runners
this early in the season. Our shareholders are watching the
entries carefully as we approach the start of what should be a great
season of racing from the Malton stable.
