Its a head-to-head!  Stormy Morning and Brunello are all set to line up at Wolverhampton in the same race
    DATE POSTED: 03/02/2014
Philip Kirby, trainer of a number of horses in the Ownaracehorse syndicates has given two of our top dual-purpose horses an entry in the same race late this week...

There may be some good-hearted rivalry on show at Wolverhampton this Friday evening.

Shareholders in two of our most popular northern based racehorses will get the chance to see which is the best when Brunello and Stormy Morning go head-to-head at Wolverhampton this Friday.

Both horses have been entered by trainer Philip Kirby for a 1 mile and 6 furlongs handicap to be run at Wolverhampton at 6:30 on Friday. Only 12 entries were made for this race and it looks like there may only be a handful of runners when the declarations are announced in mid-week.  And from what Philip has told us, we could be doubly represented, as both horses are fit and well.

Philip said today "I see no reason why both horses can't go for this race. It's the right type of race for both of them and frankly I don't know whether I could split them anyway!

Declarations for the race come out on Wednesday morning when shareholders will find out exactly how many runners there are and whether these two big guns will end up facing each other.
