Amical Risks races this Sunday at Doncaster's Lincoln meeting - the official start to the turf season
    DATE POSTED: 02/04/2011
Amical Risks is ready to do battle with 21 rivals in the opening race at Doncaster this Sunday

Our Ollie Pears seven-year-old finished fourth at the same meeting last season in a thrilling finish, and shareholders are hoping that this striking black horse will be running down the opposition again on Sunday afternoon.

This time its a Amateur riders race, and we're lucky to have one of the best Amateurs around on 'Risky' - William Twiston-Davies, the younger brother to Sam.

There is a small worry about the ground going too firm for the horse, but with showers forecast during today and tomorrow, it looks like Risky will be giving his shareholders a thrilling day out at the premier meeting of the weekend.

The Racing Post reported Clerk of the course, John Pullin, as saying "I envisage it riding on the easy side though it is officially good."
