we now have our summer season racehorses finalised. There are
two late additions to the team of seven horses which we will race
through the 2012 flat and summer jumps, they are Prickles and
Dancing Ellie Mae...
In the current austere climate, we have had to make sure we didn't
over-commit to our stable of horses for 2012, but with a few of our
summer season racehorses being close to selling out, we have been
able to add a further two recruits to the team.
|Joining our three un-raced 2YO's and three dual purpose older horses
this season, is a under-exposed 3YO flat horse and another dual
purpose mare - both horses will be based with Derek Shaw in
Leicestershire and will race in the Midlands and the South of the
Our dual purpose horses (which can race on the flat and
over hurdles) have been very popular this year, as
shareholder seek out horses which will provide plenty of
opportunities to go racing.
Back To Paris and Stormy Morning are close to selling out, so the
addition of a fine seven-year-old called Prickles will ensure
shareholders still have the choice of a robust, regularly racing
Prickles has already won on the flat and went very close to winning
over hurdles recently, and we are excited at the opportunity to
feature her summer season, as we believe it is the firmer ground
which will see her to best effect. She is already in full
training and could be racing very soon.
Dancing Ellie Mae is a young horse with only a couple of races under
her belt, but following her performance earlier this week at
Wolverhampton we were convinced that this daughter of Proclaimation
is going to develop into a very nice sprinter. She is getting
better for every run and she is the sort that Derek Shaw does
extremely well with. She will be qualified for handicaps after
her next run, and anyone who follows Derek's horses will know that
he is a master at placing these sorts of horses extremely well once
they have a handicap mark.
Both horses are available for the entire summer season for less than
£95.00 each. And with our spring yard visits kicking off at
the end of March, new shareholders won't be missing anything.
With the summer flat and jumps season starting in only four weeks
its the right time to be making your summer choice of racing
