Its time for the winter team to take over

At Ownaracehorse the seasons bring new horses and the return of old favourites, and this winter we have a combination of both type of horses for shareholders to consider...

Its time for the winter blues to be blown away by some competitive racing, and at Ownaracehorse we have three very different, but equally interesting horses for shareholders to concentrate on through the colder months.

The biggest change in recent years has been the way All-Weather racing has come to play such a big part in the winter racing scene, and we have just the horse to follow through the winter months.

Trained by Derek Shaw, one of the best All-Weather trainers out there, Chateau Lola is set to start her winter season in about a fortnight to three weeks.  She is a winner on the surface, and has had a good break during the summer and is set to race regularly through the winter season.

Derek Shaw believes this filly is on the sort of handicap mark where he can make hay with her, so we can't wait for her first run coming in mid-November.

Then we have two jumpers - one a robust and successful handicapper, and the other, a Novice Chaser for whom we have high hopes.

Chateau Lola

Stormy Morning has already started his winter campaign, by rounding off a successful flat campaign with a second placing up at Musselburgh a few weeks ago.  He could well be visiting that track again very soon, as his trainer Philip Kirby has his sights set on a return to Scotland in a handicap hurdle next week.  'Stormy' is a grand campaigner - as enigmatic as they come and full of cheeky bravado - he will give his shareholders plenty to shout about.  But be quick - he is selling out very quickly at the moment!

Then finally we have a lovely big mare called 'Crumble', who will be out in a few weeks time over hurdles, but whose real job will be jumping chase fences in the New Year as a Novice.  She has been a project of ours for some years, but everything seems to be coming together for the mare, and we are anticipating some really interesting runs from her as the winter wears on. Again, there are an ever-decreasing volume of shares in this mare, so don't leave it too late.

So - two jumpers and and a flattie to keep you warm and entertained through the winter.  From only 94.00, why not take a chance with a share?
