December 2005 Ownaracehorse has been featured in the 'Bolton News' in a feature which picks a local person at random and asks them which of the presents they have bought for Christmas are the best. When Sally Legard was asked this question in December 2005, she mentioned a few presents, but stated "But my really exciting one is a share in a racehorse. My Father will love it I'm sure, and it's trained locally in Gisburn Lancashire, so it should be great fun." The local daily newspaper features one of its readers every day for the two weeks leading up to Christmas. |
